Georgian International Scientific Conference “The Black Sea Coast at the Crossroads of Civilizations - IV”.

Leonid Bytsyura, head of Smart Solution TM, gave a special presentation at the international conference in Batumi on “The Modernization of the River Pollution Monitoring System in Ukraine and Environmental Cooperation in the Black Sea.”

The visit also included a meeting with Mr. Tite Aroshidze, rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

Our interaction with the Georgian scientific community has enormous potential in the fields of ecology, hydrology, monitoring, and remote sensing.

At the same time, such cooperation has strategic support from the European Union, in particular through the mechanisms of the NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme (Interreg VI-B) project.

Both Georgia and Ukraine are interested in improving the marine ecology of the Black Sea, which involves overcoming the consequences of military aggression, controlling pollution through adjacent river systems, improving pollution monitoring, and modernizing all wastewater treatment facilities.
