Participation in the presentation of the results of breeding work in the agricultural sector.

On July 8, 2025, an interesting and useful event, “Comprehensive technologies for growing agricultural crops in the conditions of the Western Forest-Steppe,” took place in Khorostkiv.

The participants were welcomed by the Ternopil State Agricultural Research Station of the Institute of Agriculture of the Carpathian Region of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences. The event was attended by lecturers from the Department of Ecology and Health and the Department of Agrobiotechnology of the West Ukrainian National University.

During the meeting, participants discussed long-standing issues: how to combine the latest achievements in agricultural science with real-life practice in the fields, how to use land rationally, and how to grow crops in a climate-friendly way without harming nature. It was a good opportunity to discuss not only technologies but also approaches to more environmentally friendly and sustainable farming.

It is worth mentioning the visit to the research station and experimental plots, where participants saw with their own eyes how crops are grown here, what technological methods are used, and how the characteristics of the region are taken into account. Such experience is always beneficial for scientists, practitioners, and those who are just preparing to join the real “living” agricultural production. They bring together science and practice, create new ideas, and inspire the development of agriculture with respect for nature.
