Smart Solution TM experts participated in the preparation of decisions for the Second UN Global Water Conference.

The Conference also serves as a powerful impetus for the implementation of the developments of a team of experts and the Ukrainian authorities, in particular those related to overcoming the environmental consequences of Russia's military aggression.

In preparation for this event, meetings of stakeholders of the upcoming UN Water Conference were held between October 2022 and March 2023. The discussion was attended by Leonid Bytsyura, CEO of Smart Solution TM and member of the International Water Association, who presented the main positions on water issues in Ukraine and illustrated the most critical environmental issues facing Ukraine during the war. The presentation was broadcast live on UN media.

Among the main points of the presentation were ensuring special security measures for technological water bodies used to cool nuclear reactors, hydraulic structures and water supply facilities for the population, as they are most vulnerable to terrorist attacks by the Russian aggressor. Appropriate additions to the draft resolution of the Conference were also proposed.
