Smart Solution TM projects in the field of hydroecology.

One of our most notable cases was the improvement of the environmental condition of a 300-hectare reservoir in Ternopil, Western Ukraine.

The team of specialists managed to conduct a complete diagnosis of the reservoir, create a bathymetric map, conduct several studies of silt deposits and water samples, design and install aeration shore fountains and a rainwater collector in the coastal park, design bottom cleaning in the two most problematic areas, and biological remediation using special organocatalytic technology. The plans include the installation of a bottom outlet, the modernisation of sluices and the construction of the longest coastal fountain in Ukraine on the shore of the reservoir, which will become the city's main tourist attraction.

Our team's unique approaches have formed the basis for three patented utility models.

Of course, against the backdrop of climate change, a general decrease in water content, changes in precipitation intensity and deterioration of the composition of effluents, the most important issues are the modernisation of storm drains, the audit and repair of water supply networks, strict monitoring of unsewered neighbouring villages, control of fertiliser use on adjacent agricultural land, and environmental interaction with neighbouring communities are becoming increasingly important. But even now, the Ternopil Reservoir can serve as a high-quality model for the implementation of hydrobiological and hydrotechnical tools for the conservation of Ukraine's water resources.
